'Mingles' is the contemporary Korean restaurant that was awarded by Michelin guide Seoul 2017.
Since the restaurant does not serve traditional Korean food, I would like to recommend this restaurant to Korean food beginners.

Their menu changes every season, and also the prices changes with it.
The average price for a dinner course is about $130 to $160 depends on your choice.

The dinner course comes with 7 different appetizers, 1 main, 1 dessert, and after tea.
For a main menu, you can choose 1 out of 3 choices.
For a dessert, you can also choose 1 out of 3 choices.

If you are allergic to certain food, you can notice it when you make a reservation.

1. This is the first thing you are going to get.
Do not eat the beans underneath, it's for decoration :)

#2
2. There is lightly blanched cuttlefish under the white pieces.
Enjoy the soft cuttlefish and white pieces together.
Drink Korean schisandra tea after. (It's sour, btw)

#3
3. Abalone with pear on the top.  It's fresh and chewy.  (But not tough)

#4

4. Zucchini with special sauce.  It comes with a soft bread.
You can deep the bread into the sauce for seasoning.

#5
5. Another zucchini menu.
Fried eel and etc.

#6
6. Boiled egg w/ a sauce on the bottom, Fried bean pod, Asparagus gim-bab.

#7
7. Grilled bass with different kinds of mushrooms.

8. The main menu I chose! It's smoked duck breast w/ sweet pumpkin puree.
And porridge w/ duck broth.
*There is additional charge for this main menu.*

I got a chance to take a picture of all the three dessert menu.
The first thing was...
#9-1
9-1. Peach + DongChiMi (water-based radish kimchi)
It tastes like fresh fruity mousse cake.
#9-2
9-2. In my very personal opinion, this one is the best to taste Korean traditional dessert.
It is an ice-cream, btw.
#9-3
9-3. This one is their signature dessert.  It comes with Korean traditional pot.
It is also an ice-cream, but what makes it so special? the sauce.
The sauce made with DoenJang, Korean traditional soybean paste.
Koreans never used the soybean paste for a dessert because it's kinda smelly and salty.
This is the first dessert I've ever seen using soybean paste!!
It is worth to try though :)

There is a tea coming after this dessert, but I did not take a picture.
You can try Korean traditional tea or coffee.

DONE w/ all course meal!

This is the outside view of the restaurant.  It's on the ground floor.
They located around CheongDam-dong in GangNam-gu.

Thank you.
