We all know how to moisturize our skin!
But since you are here, let's find out what many Koreans do to keep their skin moisturized.

There are many ways to extra moisturize your skin in Korea.
You can pick one of these, but please don't do all.
It is important to find the best ONE that fits for you.

1. 7 Skin rule
  • It means you applying a toner 7 times right after cleansing.
  • Use very mind toner to do this.
  • To do this: apply a toner on your face and pad with your hands till your skin absorb all the toner, and repeat 6 times more.
  • It takes time to do this, but it is a very gentle way to give your face extra moist.
2. Use a sheet mask
  • It is very common and popular way to moisturize skin in Korea.
  • To do this: after applying a toner, just put a sheet mask on your face, leave it for 15 minutes, take it off, follow with moisturizer you use.
  • Do it twice a week, this can be done in the morning or at night, whenever you prefer.
3. Daily mask sheet : One day One mask
  • Basically it is same idea of using a sheet mask, but doing it every single day.
  • To do this: it is very important to use mild sheet masks those only concentrate on moisturizing.  There are many kinds of sheet masks that concentrate on brighting, tightening, nutriment, or etc.  Don't use them for daily use, or they will cause trouble on your face.
4. Use your toner as a mask
  • You might afraid to try sheet masks that you cannot trust the ingredients especially you have acne-prone or sensitive skin like I do, SO here's a speciality mask just for you!
  • To do this: prepare several cotton pads those were soaked in your favorite toner (Do not use a toner that contains alcohol), put them on your face, leave it for 10 minutes, and take it off, follow with moisturizer you use.
5. Use any masks you want: wash-off, peel-off, or etc.
  • There are a LOT of mask types in Korean beauty market.
  • Just remember to use them twice a week, no more.
6. Use essence/treatment
  • As far as I know, Koreans use more essence/treatment.  It looks like there are so many steps to do Korean skincare, but that is because of this essence/treatment step.  Many Koreans put these essence/treatment steps between toner and moisturizer part.  You can use essence/treatment as many as you want. (but I personally don't recommend to put too many)
After one of these extra care, don't forget to put moisturizer!!!
Moisturizing your skin with a lotion or a cream is always the final step of skincare as you know :)
